TRAVEL INFORMATION: COVID-19 UPDATE

We are living through a unique moment in our history. New habits have been acquired and some changes have been necessary to ensure everyone's safety.

Here are some guidelines and information on protocols and care that we are adopting in our routines.

SECURITY PROTOCOLS

Reinforcement of hygiene in the hotel's rooms and other facilities:

  • Alcohol gel will be available on the hotel premises;
  • We will use hospital sanitizing products in the social areas and apartments
  • The social areas will be cleaned with disinfectant every shift;
  • Windows and doors will be kept open in the social areas;
  • All the food services offered by the hotel will be standardized according to international WHO standard recommendations.
  • The apartments will be thoroughly cleaned with products authorized by the Brazilian Ministry of Health.

  CARING FOR OUR TEAM

  • Every day we will check the health of our team, observing symptoms of flu, coughs, fever, in the same way that all our employees are instructed not to go to work if they have any symptoms.
  • Our team will work with masks and other PPE indicated for each task.
  • We will keep the required distance between 1.5 and 2 meters at all points of care.
  • New practices are already being adopted: use of masks, alcohol gel 70%, constant washing of hands with water and soap, distance of 1.5 meters from other people.

  GUEST ETIQUETTE

  • We are adjusting our routines to ensure everyone's health and safety. We invite you to be part of this chain. Pay attention to the following precautions:
  • Only travel if you are free of flu symptoms. If necessary, please contact us and we will reschedule your reservation;
  • In addition to alcohol gel displays, our toilets are located near the hotel entrances.
  • The suggestion is to wash your hands with soap and water whenever you arrive;
  • When coughing or sneezing, protect your nose and mouth;
  • Keep a safe distance from other people, guests and employees;
  • You can ask for our help during your stay at the reception desk;
  • We are sure that your days in Búzios will renew your energy and be a source of great joy, but if during your stay you feel any symptoms of flu or fever, please let us know. We are ready to help you and advise you on the necessary procedures.

We take hygiene and cleanliness standards very seriously and are taking additional measures to ensure the safety of guests and associates. Our hotels are working daily to ensure that the latest guidelines on hygiene and cleanliness are followed. Our health and safety products are designed to deal with a broad spectrum of viruses, including COVID-19, and include everything from hand hygiene and cleaning product specifications to cleaning procedures for rooms and common areas.

  EMPLOYEE HEALTH, SAFETY AND KNOWLEDGE

Employees, as well as their own health, safety and knowledge, are essential to an effective cleaning program. Here are some of the ways we support them:

  • Hand hygiene: Washing hands correctly and frequently is vital to help combat the spread of viruses. Every day at our meetings, teams are reminded that cleanliness starts with this simple act. This is important for the health of associates and our guests.
  • Ongoing training: In addition to training in cleaning and hygiene protocols, associates are also completing enhanced COVID-19 awareness training.

 
CLEANING PROTOCOLS AND PRODUCTS

Our hostels use products and cleaning protocols that are effective against viruses, including:

  • Rooms: Cleaning and disinfection protocols for cleaning rooms between the departure of one guest and the arrival of another, paying special attention to the items that are usually touched the most.
  • Public spaces: The frequency of cleaning and disinfection in public spaces has increased, with a focus on reception desks, door handles, public toilets and even room keys.
  • Service areas: Hotels have increased the frequency of cleaning specific spaces where associates work "behind the scenes" and are focusing especially on cleaning high-contact areas, such as exclusive entrances for employees, changing rooms, laundry rooms and team offices.
